Who is Howee Care?
Howee Care is a fully animated robot, he moves, speaks, listens, plays audio cassette tapes, and activates his lights all by remote control. Howee joined Lee County EMS in 1994 and has been a staple in the organization - communicating the EMS message and educating the community on the public safety issues. The Lee County EMS Public Information, Education and Relations Programs schedules events throughout the year for Howee to attend, to educate and to inform audiences young and old, alike.

Durable Body
Detailed ambulance replica body, molded of strong impact resistant plastic. Weighs less than 80 lbs., 37" long, 24" wide, and 37" tall.
Fully Mobile
High quality, industrial grade electric drive motors give Howee complete mobility by remote control.
Voice System
Two-way, full duplex wireless voice system allows the operator to both talk and listen at the same time.
Audio Cassette Player
Rugged stereo cassette player with AM/FM radio. Operated by remote control.
Lights and Siren
Headlights, taillights, and siren switch on and off by remote control.
Warning Lights
Alternately flashing red and white warning lights, activated by remote control.
Moving Eyes and Eyelids
Eyes move left and right, eyelids open and close separately by remote control. Allows Howee to wink, blink, and go to sleep, all by remote control.
Rear Emergency Door
Rear door opens as a visual aid. Rear door also provides access to robot battery, cassette player and other controls.
Removable Top
Howees top unlatches and is easy to remove in seconds, making him easy to transport.
